This group of oaks stand in the grounds of a neighbouring school and is covered by a tree preservation order (TPO). We liaised with the council to obtain the relevant permissions for the work and organised dates and access with the school. This was another case of trying to increase the amount sunlight into a garden. In full leaf the trees were particularly oppressive. Over the course of three days Rob climbed through each tree working under the guidance of the ground crew to get to the level agreed with the tree officer.
